I do all on line grocery shopping. Besides amazon for gorceries I shop at Meijer.com. Some of their prices are even better then amazon. except you have to pay however today I got an e-mail with free shipping site wide. If you do on line shopping take a look at their site and take advantage of free shipping.

Wow, I never knew you could buy groceries online. I live in a very tiny little town and I know that the elderly or infirmed can have groceries delivered, food from the restaurant, etc. all done with just a phone call. My BIL has retired from his plumbing, heating and air conditioning business but the little old ladies in town still call him every fall and he goes and cleans their furnaces, changes the filters and starts them up. The ladies will call him a couple days later and have him come pick up a pie, plate of cookies, or a loaf of homemade bread because he has never (even when he was in business) sent any of them a bill.

A regular chain near me has online shopping. They always have specials but the "shipping" is only free on the first delivery. It's reasonable the rest of the time.
The food actually comes from the nearest store, two blocks away, and you can't tip the driver. They deliver frozen goods, too (even in the hottest weather).
We use this service when someone's sick and needs constant care. Comes in very handy.

I was looking up home milk delivery online and was shocked to find that the Hood Milk CO (in New England) delivers ALL kinds of groceries right to your home, kind of like Schwan's, but cheaper. Of course I am NOT in their delivery area, grrrr...
