Guess what husband bought for my birthday
#1
He's just not the kind of guy that knows how to come up with good gifts. However, on my birthday this week, he surprised me with a Kindle.
I haven't ordered a book yet, but I am looking forward to using this wonderful bit of technology.
Having a bit of a Southern accent, I told a friend about the gift on the phone. She asked, "Does it smell good?" Ha! Ha!

I have been eyeing the "Nook". I was surprised to find so many quilting magazines available on the nook. But, if you like the pattern, can you download it, print it or somehow save it to another computer? I have to do some research on that aspect. Enjoy it.

I freq buy mine via ebay.... My last purchase was something like 55 James Patternson books for unde $10. They arrive on CD.
and there are many older, out of copyright books u can get for free as well.. just do a google for " free ebooks".
I love it... I have vision problems and I cna make the font bigger. Makes it much easier to read for me.
