these 3 fawns have been around all summer and they love the pear tree. All pears are gone within reaching distance. :D We were gone for 3 days and they found their way thru the electric fence around the garden also...not much left there either. My DH says he gives up... :roll:

Nice picture of your screen, lol. I just love deer, can't blame them for wanting to eat.

I suppose maybe something more substantial than an electric fence? Maybe a 12 foot high, 2 foot wide brick wall?

I hear they can leap up to 12 foot tall fences. So you need to go at least 12'

once thru the electric fence the others just follow in....don't care about the jolt..they are pretty but they seem to be increasing in numbers every year...so much damage on the roads and the people in our small town put mesh over their flowers. my DH saw 3 bucks in the field last week prancing around.
