Anyone live in this area? I am moving there in March and I will be looking for sewing buddies once I get settled in. Also, are there any quilt shops in the Raeford area or just Raleigh and north of that?

Don't know how far it is to Charlotte but there is the most awesome store there called Mary Jo's Cloth store. Only been there once but wound up spending $500! Of course, I knew that is why I was going and had been saving up!

I live north of Raleigh and not familiar with too many things south of here but I did go to Mary Jo's. Bet you'll love it!

DH worked in Chapel Hill for a while. There is a Bernina store with a nice fabric selection in Chapel Hill called Thimble Pleasures. This is their website address http://www.thimblepleasures.com. Not sure how far they are from your location. Enjoy the area.
