I went to the mail box today and not only did I get some beautiful quilt blocks today (thank you Quilting Nonnie ((Nannie, I'm not sure))), I received a card from the summer program that I volunteer for stating that I was chosen to be a Co-Facilitator for Illinois Teen Institute. I am so happy! Now I have to get those pot holders done and Sold!!! Started cutting the other day... I'm almost there... oy so many squares...

I was a Co-Fac last year... I loved it! I will need to get stickers... lol... we are a sticker kind of people... adults and kids alike :D ... I'll make a list... but first I have to figure out how to get there! I may be able to hitch a ride there with the school there... and possibly back... (our high school goes every year, with the highest # of kids... plus I get to tag along with them during CAT meetings... which means I get to help out the handsome Mr. Tony Sylvester, who was not a teacher when I was in high school, he is only a handful of years older than me... 4 years older... and I am back from dream land... The teacher who did this before him was Mrs. Czekalski, she said last year was her last year doing ITI and she retired from the high school in 2007... she stayed on to be sure they found the right replacement... she went through 4 different teachers at the high school... the first was when my last year was... the 4th being Mr. Sylvester... She said he is a keeper...)Sorry, I can't wait! I'm totally happy! Thank you!
