I think the Canucks are so smart for having Thanksgiving now instead of November. Too much cooking so close together here in the USA. :-)

Once Thanksgiving is over, many of our Snowbirds head in your direction
... and are there in time to celebrate yours too!

Sneaky, aren't they?

Wishing all of our Canadian extended family of friends a Healthy, and Happy Thanksgiving- Thanking God for all of our Blessings and bounty. Enjoy your holiday and families and friends. Our Thanksgiving will be next month, and true we all have so much to be thankful for, we often forget through the year. May all of the goodies not add a pound to any of you lol. Have a great holiday everyone. Glad you are our neighbors!!!

A very quiet Thanksgiving the last few years here with just 2 of us so I don't do big turkey dinner . What a change from when family was young but now live far away. I phoned a few friends to get in the spirit. Friend phoned whose family ate Sun with her and now wants us to come and help her eat the leftovers . Terrific I will get turkey and I will bring squash. Hubby went with motorcycle hours ago to find an open grocery store where he can buy a box of stuffing since there was none leftover. Love these combined meals and the friends to eat with.
Thanks for all the greetings .
We leave in 2 weeks for Fl and we celebrate more with family in Nov --go from Ft. Myers to Destin Fl area for 5 days. Becoming a tradition with us after 5 years now. Then nephew comes south for Christmas.
Remember Canada's harvest is earlier than US so naturally Thanksgiving is also but many of same food choices for he general public.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! The US Thanksgiving will be interesting this year for some, since it will also be the first night of Hanukkah. Some little boy has already created a "menurkey" )http://www.timesofisrael.com/menorah...ving-menurkey/).

Now that's just the best idea I've heard of in a long time. I think I may have to try that in the reverse direction.
