Has anyone recieved a call from supposedly ET Pertection technical support or something like that. It has to do with microsoft windows operating systems. They said that my computor has infections inside the windows systems. I told them that I would would do some research first and if it is true then I would call them back. In the mean time I wasn't going to let them get into my computor because they could be the ones stealing my information. Have you had one of these calls?

I would not give them the time of day! They are the ones after your information, you can bet on that! I've never heard of anything like that that is legitimate!

Nope. Don't answer the phone for that number again. Google the number and see what's been said, then add your experience to it so the next person isn't scammed, either.

Actually if they gave you a number or website to contact them you might want to turn it over to the police to investigate. Or contact the Better Business Bureau to see if they have any complaints. Or if you have a local TV station that likes to investigate such items.

Yes I told them that I thought that they were scammers. I went to click my phone over to catch another call. When I got back they were gone. They had the nerve to call back a second time. I didn't give them the time of day.

Definitely a scam.
Get you one of those loud air horns & use that sucker if they call you again. Maybe if they go deaf in that ear they'll stop running this scam. WE can only hope. :)
