Yes, I had one twenty years ago, and I'm surprised they still do them! I had a ruptured disc in my back. The procedure was not bad, but I moved too much, and ate too quickly since I felt so good after the procedure...which was not good. I became nauseated. So...just stay still and don't eat (just like they tell you) for a few hours after the myleogram, and you should be fine. Good luck to you.

yes they still do them for people who do not show enough signs as to why there is pain. or that is what i was told.

I had a few and after the first one I was sick for over 4 weeks though I did everything they told me. I´m allergic to all kinds of medicine so that must have been part of the problem.

I had one in my 30's & would not do it again unless I really desperate. Mine was supposed to help diagnose severe headaches, but gave me more. Have you asked what they might find that they cannot determine with an MRI?

Yes I had one before my back surgery, they inject die into spinal fluid and move the table you're one to see the die move in your spinal cord. where it stops is where the problem is. Mine was ruptured disk, Had the surgery and the pain was gone when I woke up. But you have to lay flat after or you will have bad head aches.
