Sorry you're still under the weather! I have the cold that won't go away. It's now morphed into a sinus infection. Is it my imagination or are the bugs getting worse??

It's not your imagination! Bugs ARE getting worse as they get resistant to all the meds we throw at them... :(
Hope you both feel better soon!

If you could photograph the virus, maybe I could check and see. Sorry you're sick, but how would we know if we had the same one you do?

I remember years ago when I lived in NYC, an epidemic broke out in my neighborhood - bad enough that it made the papers. I caught it (I catch almost everything), and it was horrible. It laster a solid week, and for the first five days I couldn't keep anything down. I slept, only getting up to run to the bathroom.

I've also had stomach viruses that have only lasted a day.

Hope you're better soon.

Thanks! What juices should I be drinking? Everything so far is going straight thru. :-)

Have you been tested for the Norwalk virus? They call it the "cruise ship virus"(I saved us a ton of money by getting this "expensive" virus and didn't even set foot on the ship). lol
I had it a while back, from contaminated food, never ever eat at Baldini's in Reno. That's where I contracted it at.

Water is really the best for you until you knock this out. Not sure juice would be a good idea right now.

Do they have an adult version of Pedialyte? That would help with nutrition.

Four days is a lot, and hopefully it's on its way out the door now for you. Feel better soon. :)

Sounds horrible. There are so many going around now. I drink apple juice when I'm sick. Even if it's going right through you keep drinking it. Don't get dehydrated.

I'm diabetic and this is what I have to do.
Drink Gatorade and go on the BRAT diet.
Eat Bananas, Rice, Applesauce or Apple juice, or Tea.
All have binding qualities and will help you.
It doesn't matter if it goes back out, Gatorade has electrolytes and your body needs them.

I'm sorry you are so miserable, my family has had that, it lasted a week, and then they relapsed for another 4 days.
