Have you noticed how much solid white is going into quilts this year? I absoulutely love it. It's amazing how all the other fabrics seem to take center stage from there.

I haven't used white in quite a while. I like off white on off white or white on white. Really makes colors pop.

where can i find a good quality white fabric? i just made a quilt and used some white fabric i had on hand. it is nice. i can hardly see my hand through it. Kona and muslin and others all are too thin. Kona used to be nice.
I have a feeling this white i used was a sheet at one time. maybe not. i don't know.

For really beautiful whites, look in the Asian fabrics. There are some spectacular whites and the fabric is super nice.

I do like the white in quilts, I prefer it to black. I do use a great deal of white on whites , but have seen some great quilts here lately with just plain white.
