Have you noticed how much solid white is going into quilts this year? I absoulutely love it. It's amazing how all the other fabrics seem to take center stage from there.

Yes, they look so clean and crisp, love them with brights :D:D:D
I love using white. I buy white Kona cotton by the bolt.
Kona fabric (drool worthy). such beautiful fabric. i've never used white. I really think it goes back to when i little ones at home. now i just have furr babies at home. and i'm going to throw caution to the winds and use all the white i want. lol :lol:Originally Posted by bjeriann
We have iron in our well water. Pristine white - not :(
I haven't used white in quite a while. I like off white on off white or white on white. Really makes colors pop.
where can i find a good quality white fabric? i just made a quilt and used some white fabric i had on hand. it is nice. i can hardly see my hand through it. Kona and muslin and others all are too thin. Kona used to be nice.
I have a feeling this white i used was a sheet at one time. maybe not. i don't know.
For really beautiful whites, look in the Asian fabrics. There are some spectacular whites and the fabric is super nice.
thanks, i will. ()
I do like the white in quilts, I prefer it to black. I do use a great deal of white on whites , but have seen some great quilts here lately with just plain white.
