That is pretty cool. Wish I had some of my old clothes back. Oh well, I really must get busy and make some. I haven't made any clothes for so long but want to make just a basic dress. Noticed the prices of patterns, my gosh, that has really gone up since I last sewed. Will have to stick with the $3.99 ones or go to the thrift store. How about any of you ladies - do you sew your own clothes?

Well, they were all ugly before and ugly after too. I can't think of any of my clothes of the past I liked enough to want to remake into something new. I'd rather start from scratch.

What a thrifty and creative young woman. What she does with clothes is amazing. Of course it helps that she is slim and trim!

Watch for patterns on sale for $1 at Hancock's. They frequently have a particular brand of patterns (sometime Simplicity, sometimes McCall's, etc.) on special sales.

I saw the Yahoo! story on her. I think what she's doing is a ton of fun and shows talent, too.

Looks like she buys the dresses several sizes too large for her, which gives her a lot of spare material to work with. She can totally recut the lines that way.

What a fun blog! That woman has some talent! I wonder how she takes the sides in...I have a few dresses I wish I could do that to.
