My ds has a girlfriend!! He has Aspergers, which causes him to have really poor social skills. So this is monumental!! He's only 12 (will be 13 in August), so he's bit young. But who cares!! lol This is a great hurdle to have jumped over!!

Awww, I hear your excitement!! A dear friend of mine has a son (now grown) with Asberger's. He wasn't diagnosed until he was around 17 and only with the diligence of his Mom!!!
He's such a wonderful guy. People with Asberger's seem to have some amazing compensations :)

Whoo hoo! Glad your DS is doing so well!! This is a big step for him!!

Our 12yr old DGS (ausbergers)has an older girl wanting to be his girlfriend. My DD is concerned WHY she wants to be his girlfriend! LOL Joey is so easy to influence. We have talked to him about what is and isn't appropriate!

His younger brother has autism and is a hugh functioning autistic. It will be interesting to see how Sara deals with this when he gets to this stage!

LOL, I guess it's good that my son doesn't want to move in with her.
