My youngest daughter regularly calls to see what wierd thing happened to me. She called too early tonight!

We got a new laptop about 2 weeks ago. It has "tablet" software, but no pen to use with it. So I decided to hunt for the pen in all the orifices of the PC.

As luck would have it, there is no pen. But while looking for it, I found the SD card insert. I gently pressed on it, expecting it to pop out just enough so I could remove it.

Something hit my glasses and fell to the floor. The danged SD card 'inserter' shot out of the PC so fast, I didn't even see it! Thanked my lucky stars that I wear glasses, as they deflected it from my eye.

Then I picked up the 'inserter' and tried to put it back into its home. Thought I had it in, too, until it shot back out of the slot. This time, it got past my defenses - hit my eye. Lucky for me, my eyelid did it's job and closed in time to protect the eye.

The SD 'inserter' is on the floor now. Can't find it.

I'll look for it in the morning - after I find some goggles.

Sounds like you might need a hockey mask, some gloves and a net. Don't forget about the buddy system when you go hunting that little varmint. Good luck.

Wow, I think that thing was out to get you. Doesn't want to be locked up either.

The revenge of the mean lap top!

It doesn't want to get poked, that's why the pen is missing. It also shows you how it feels and pokes back.

Sorry couldn't help it. Thank God you didn't get hurt.

I always say, if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all! I hear you...

Weird garbage always happens to me too. When I tell people, most of them look at me like I am nuts. I try to be a good person so I dont think its karma.

I do have to say that I get in practically every class action lawsuit in America for all this little garbage though. It's amazing that people decide to sue. I usually just shrug and go on.

I get 4 bucks here, 11 there. It's kind of like Christmas all year long once you get used to the weird stuff happening.
