We have record breaking heat 104 degrees in NYC & 108 in Newark, NJ. Feels like a foreign planet outside. Inside, I'm sewing for Christmas.

I've been giving this some thought also. I have about decided that in winter I should quilt for summer and summer I should quilt for winter. Maybe that would help.lol

I was outside all week at an inter-city church's day camp. It was 106 today. I'm kind of glad no one told me the temperature until I came home.

I just came in from doing some grocery shopping. At 10:30pm it was 91 degrees. I'm from Southern California. Temperatures at 100 are not new for me. However, the humidity here is stifling. I really feel for those that have to work outdoors in this.

I feel bad for all of the people who have to be out there working in this heat.

We broke an all time record at 105 yesterday. Heat factor was 115-120. It ias 85 at 5:00a.m. today. We normally get just 1-2 days that hit 100 in a a typical summer.
