Help finding simple project for 4 yr old DGD

She is staying with us a few days and likes to sit in my lap and "help" MeMaw sew. My daughter called today and said their county fair is next week-end and they have a under 7 devision in sewing. You can help with sewing machine b/c of safety reasons. You do have to take pics and document the project. Only have her a couple more days looking for something fun that she can and would like to do. Please, let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

A 4-patch or 9-patch doll quilt would be quick and easy if you birth it instead of using binding.

I have made some with 5" charms with my DGD. She like different colors, and she likes a arranging them to suit her tastes. She says "I do the colors and You do the chine Gramma". We just do dolly size

pillowcases are very simple and fast. young children love to use them also if they are made from fun fabric!
