Help with making ring bearer pillow

Help with making ring bearer pillow

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Making simple sqare pillow from sateen fabric and leaf embroidery. Any advice on stabelizer, needle oe any hints. just stuffing with fill.

I made the pillow for my sons wedding just a simple square and use stuffing for it. My grandson carries it by the ribbons, It really doesn't matter!!

I just used the satin fabric, stuffed the pillow, added decorations and was done. Here's a picture of the almost finished pillow. I forgot to take a pic of the final version but this is close.

Don't forget to add a strap on the back for holding the pillow- I will look and see if I have any pics of the ones I have made

Any shape you decide is perfect BUT if the rings are going to be tied on the pillow.... triple knot them on....
my ring bearer got bored during the ceremony and was swinging the pillow by the ribbons... Thank Goodness the rings were securely tied or we'd still be searching for them ha ha... that was 32 years ago

The one I made was a satin stuffed square, no embellishments, on request of bride. We tied the rings on with thin fancy ribbon around the middles, and that's what baby grandson hung on to.
