DH has an injured foot/ankle and the physical therapist is recommending him exercise on a recumbent bike as he can't walk good distances for exercise and weight loss.

Do you have a recumbent bike that you like or recommend?

We have a very simple pedal affair that you can use from any chair you like. My husband puts it in front of his easy chair and pedals while he watchs TV at night. For people who can't use it with their feet, it can be set on a table and used with your hands. You can set the resistance if you want. We've had it for years but I think you can still find them on the internet. The exercise is authentic; it will reduce his BP and his blood sugar by 50 points.

I think some of the big sporting good stores have them also.

Have a recumbent bike but after this knee surgery a friend lent me this small exerciser they told you about which I liked more. Can move it to any room . Convienient , cheaper and smaller.

I have a recumbent bike as well, and still use it 3 years after my knee replacement. It is a huge one with a heart monitor etc. with several "automatic" programs (like a treadmill). My DH bought it for me, but honestly it is a whole lot more than I need to keep my joints moving. If I were to do it again, I would get a smaller lighter model.
