What about a gift certificate to a restaurant that will deliver food to them while they recover? Audio books to listen to while they recoup- just a couple of thoughts. You and your family are in my prayers.

thanks ladies... it wouldn't have happened without Lisa's wonderful suggestion. The surgery is November 16th.. I'll let you know how it goes.
