omgoodness..........I think I would throw out all the clothes, pack my goodies, then see if any of the clothes fit, if not oh well..........or, wrap your fabric yardage around your body instead of a girdle, lol, my do ladies wear girdles anymore? I certainly don't.

another thought, you could always fill your extra shoes with spools of thread, and other small things...???

You need a quilting buddy in the US who will purchase the fabric and mail it to you. Would you still have to pay customs on it? I noticed that fabric in the US was MUCH less expensive than in England, the Netherlands, Germany or France.

I went to Alaska during the summer on a quilt cruise. There was only one port where I didn't find the quilt shop but I hit every other one. I ended up packing it all into my carry on and having some of it shipped home, which got there before I did.

Good for you, what better way to spend your money than on fabric, my son lives in orlando, i hope you had a great trip and a safe return. I hope you get to make some wonderful goodies.
