I'm busy getting machines ready and fabric cut for lots of kids. (and some of the moms too) I've had so many requests for quilting help from eager moms and now their kids want to join in the fun. Should be a fun day, I'll get lots of pics.

Can't wait to see more, I have tried to share my enthusiasm with others but no takers so far. It is wonderful for you to do this.

I've had some families ask me to teach them quilting, but I work full time and haven't had a chance. Do you have a specific plan for teaching them?

Wonderful !! Kids in our public school are not taught how to:
    sew a button,
    fix a zipper,
sew seams that have come apart,

sew a pillow, forget how to read a pattern, sew darts, pleats, ect.

Home ec is neccessary part of life.. My own daughter does not know there things and I quilt ! my DIL I bought her a machine that is still in the box - Christmas request.. and she too does not know how to sew on a button..

^5 to you! and enjoy the day !!
