    There is a thread on on this web site that chats about embroidery machine & general emb. info. If interested go to search at top of this page and put in embroidery machine then scroll down to embroidery machine lets chat. This thread contains a lot of good embroidery stuff.

    I just hate to take on any project that detailed. I will do names based on the # of letters but also set a flat rate for a Single Letter 2 Letters or a Monogram. I also take into account the font used. Some letters in different fonts have more stitches. Embroidery retailers will charge a set up fee, thread color fee and # of stitches fee...that's why it costs so much. For what you are talking about $65 is a good price. If you have to digitize the design, a good digitizer charges about $35.00 for a simple design

    I only charge $3 for a first name.Alot also has to do with where you are,like cities you can get more money for it than if you live out in the middle of nowhere

    I figured out what the typo was before it was edited. It was #2 and designs. He he he!
