Default How cold is it?

It was -1 when I got up at 6 this morning. I'm about 40 miles south of Chicago. How cold was it where you are?

Well, I'm at the very, very west coast of Sweden and right now we have 8 degrees Celsius which translates to about 46 degrees Fahrenheit. And it is going to stay that way for at least another 10 days. I'm glad if I don't have to see any snow this year.
As long as the winds come from the west it will stay above freezing. We enjoy the gulf stream which graciously passes us with at least some memories of warmer climates.

It's 42 right now (9:30 EST) and the forecast is calling for the high 20's overnight. Raining today. Hoping we DON'T get snow.

mariatherese, I loved seeing your picture. My grandparents were born in Sweden--Uppsala, I believe. The family homestead, Stopa, from the 1700s is still owned and worked by my relatives.

we are up to 19, Yeah! I live in north TX and we had a big ice storm last Friday and are just starting to get around. We had 3" and it is still so cold it won't thaw. Miles of stranded travelers on the highways. I hope we warm up soon.

Here in the middle of Canada (Winnipeg) today, it is -25 Celsius which translates into 13 degrees below 0 Fahrenheit. It's a tad chilly!

I am in Eastern KS and it was 20 degrees F when I got up at 8:30 AM. Projected highs in the 30's. We are in for a warming trend with projected highs next week in the 50's.
