a Christmas tree shaped paper mache box.
What have so many of you done with them? This one opens up. about 7" high.

So the box is undecorated at this point? If it were mine I would do something in wool/wool felt applique on the top of the box and simply paint the bottom to match. You could put another Christmas tree, Santa, or angel on the top...or maybe just a star. So many options really.

I saw on a cooking show, that Hubs won't ever use tape to wrap anything; he used glue instead. His gifts looked so nice and smartly done. Just a thought.

Are you using it for gift giving or decoration? If it is for decorating, I might drill tiny holes in the top and put a battery operated light inside. It would look like the tree had twinkle lights on it at night.
