Rain showed up early this morning (3 am or so). It's raining now. I'm so happy. Blessings upon the Gds for the rain!

Down here in central Texas it is extremely dry as well. We haven't been getting the rain that the northern part of the state has been having. This spring has also been very windy and that dries out the land even more. Most of the crops have already been ruined. And it's hot, hot, hot! As of yesterday, 13 out of 20 days in June have seen 100 degrees or more. My dad is 90 and he said he doesn't remember it ever being this hot in June before.

The Armadillo is a cutie. I'm suprised he didn't call all of his friends. Glad I'm not in Texas. We just put our A/C's in last weekend and haven't used them yet. Its been a weird year.
We usually put them in in May and they run all the time.
I'm not complaining. I hate the heat. I feel bad for you guys dealing with all that heat. You could come visit us in Washington and cool off.

Here in the northern panhandle of Texas our rainfall for the year is 0". The high temps and winds have just scorched everything.

It is raining here in SETX. ,too. It has been so dry that I have to add water to my pond from our well. The birds are fighting over the water bowl. The squirrels , who are usually standoffish want to drink out of the hose . TG for the rain.
