How to get rid of dents in the carpet?

Moved some furniture and now there are dents in the carpet where they were. Seems I recall something about using Ice cubes, but can't remember any details. Sure would appreciate some help here! Thanks.

Take your fingers and "rake" them through the dent! Works for me

You just place an ice cube in each dent. Not sure how well it works but shouldn't hurt anything.

I heard that too....just rub them with the cold and try to fluff it up, I think. Couldnt really hurt it. I know I have wet the carpet with a wet rag and rubbed it and then it seems to come back....but never have done the ice cube thing.

Put ice cube one dent, let melt, leave til next day. Fluff and vacuum. Worked for me.

You can also put a little liquid fabric softener in a spray bottle, dilute with water, and spray the carpet. Rub it a bit then vacuum. They will usually pull back up pretty easily this way.
