Some names are really popular , some are very unique. When I was growing up I was the only Sharon

Since I have joined this board I cannot believe how many have the same first name .

So lets find out how many here have the first name Sharon, and how common it was when you where growing up

I'm not a Sharon but I have a cousin that is a Sharon and a lady I worked with was a Sharon. We didn't have any in our class at school but there was one in the grade ahead of me. This was in the 70s

I'm a Sharon. As far as I know, I was the only one in public school. I used to hate it but now I like it (Rose of Sharon) :-D

I'm not a Sharon, but there have always been several Sharons in my classes at school, at summer camp, at work, in the neighborhood. I was really surprised to read that you didn't experience that, too.

My mum's name is Sharon :) She doesn't have a user name here, she lurks, though.

If you go to the user list and type in "Sharon", a whole pageful pops up - and that is just the ones who use it in their user name.
