How Many Trick or treaters

We did not hand out candy due to our dogs. Any time someone rings the door bell or knocks on the door, the two dogs go to barking their heads off. If the door is opened then they growl at the kids in costumes. We went through this last Halloween and we said no more candy handy out unless the dogs are out of the house .

We had 4 large bags of candy and we had to shut our lights off at 7:45 we ran out of candy. We had over 100 kids. I think they bring them in by cars after they hit the mall. We love to have the kids the small ones are so cute my DH has a little witch that shakes and the kids love it. Some of them remember it he's had it for yrs. It's once a yr so we enjoy it especially DH gives us company. Sue

Not to many, I live in town but there just weren't so many. My boss lives in the country and what they do is the people get together and figure out how many kids there will be and each house bags up candy for that many kids and then they take the kids on a wagon ride to each house to collect the candy. I thought that was such a great idea; one swoop and all is taken care of and you don't have to spend all night waiting to see of another child shows up.
