I am sitting here on this dreary day looking at all the quilted paradise e-mails. I find it so difficult to delete all of them in my in-box thinking there is some critical info that I may use. I do bookmark important tutorials and quilting sites but I have found myself closing my eyes and pushing the delete button to get rid of so many of them. Is this strange or what?

Not strange. Sometimes we just have to take control of the inbox

The ones I wanted to keep I printed out and have a binder to keep them in with protective sheet covers. Then hit delete.

You can probably create another folder in your e-mail box, and drag all those messages there. That way they won't be cluttering your in-box, but you won't have to actually delete them either.

Just in case! :)

That's what I do. I have a number of folders to keep mine in. There are back in a click that way.

I would create a quilting file and just move them. I have a tendency to not delete until my computer screams at me.

I spent an hour deleting messages the other night and only managed to get rid of about 1000.
Folders are great tools for sorting in the interim, but even they need regular housekeeping.
Weren't computers supposed to make our lives easier????

i spent time the other day, deleting links in my "favorites". alot of them were broken links, so old!
unsubscribing from from quilt shops..

went into "my documents", made some new folders and tried to get that organized too..deleted a bunch, printed a bunch...

then i ran the defrag..it felt good to get some of it cleaned up and out!
