We just celebrated #47! We met in high school and married 6 months after graduation. Not sure how we made it - maybe ignorance is bliss. It has been a great life - 2 children, 7 grandchildren. We still even like each other! :0)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Hubster and I have been married 43 years...will be 44 later this summer. Time has really flown. Oops, it see that this is an old thread. You are actually ahead of us. *grin*

We will celebrate our 49th on June 20th this year. We are more in love today that in the beginning. Then it didn't seem possible to love each other more than we did at that young age. I was 17 and he was 23. My Dad had to sign at the courthouse to give his permission for me to marry that young. I had just graduated from high school and we didn't want to wait until November for my 18th birthday. He had just come home from Germany where he had spent over four years in the army. We met on Christmas night at a local dance. He was my best friend's oldest brother. A year and a half later we had own first son. A year and a half after his birth our second son was born. We were so young and we too wonder where the time has gone. Congratulations Donna Anne.

Happy Anniversary! We celebrated 43 years last October. Doesn't seem that long............Where has the time gone?

Ours will be 52 years. Plus 5 years that we went togeather. It is so nice that so many people have been togeather for so long. Nowadays people seem to be married for a few years and call it quits.

We married in 1973, so I guess that makes it 40 years for us this year. Some times each day feels like 40 years, other days it seems like just yesterday.
