I was just thinking about how tall the average woman is these days, and I don't know. Is 5'5" the average height for a woman (in the USA)?

I'm short (5'2", though the doctor says I've shrunk to 5'1" - huh), so most people are taller than me anyway. So just looking around and assessing isn't giving me the answer.

So.... I'm taking a survey. How tall are YOU?

I'm 5'6", too. But I have short legs and a long torso. Makes buying things difficult sometimes.

I'm only 5'5", but I have the opposite problem, long legs and a very short torso. This also makes buying things difficult.
