I just got another magazine we didn't order, nor talk to anyone about. This old House is the name of this one. We had gotten Time magazine before that. It's difficult to cancel these things but so far i haven't seen where they have snuck in a charge for them. Why are they doing this? it's most frustrating.
i just tried to cancel online but they want an email addy.
called the 800 number but they are closed. so will wait till Monday i guess. anybody else getting different mags?

I do not get free magazines. But most give magazines and newspapers away because many BIG advertisers will only advertise with them if they have a certain number of publication. it is cheaper for the big companies to GIVe agaw subscriptions than to miss out on the big advertsers.

It might be like those stupid cd's they send. I just ignored them and they finally stopped.

I have received a couple of magazines during the last couple of years. I simply kept them and considered them a gift. When I received an invoice I wrote on it that I had not ordered it and would not be paying for it. That stopped the free magazines.
