I really am impressed with all the sewing going on. I have yet to stitch in over 3 months. I spent more time here then I sew. It seems the sewing room is always a mess and I have to clean it. Then there is mending(which never gets finished). Food needs to be prepared, then the kitchen is a mess again. Never stops. I get tired that life gets in the way sometimes. My christmas tree still only has lights on it. I keep up with the vacuuming because I have two robots that do that. It doesn't stop me from buying fabric or planning a quilt.
Great job friends.

Life does get in the way sometimes. I'm retired now, so have lots more time to sew, but I, too, spend too much time here. But it's enjoyable as well.

I agree, live life, but give me time to piece a quilt.
Try to make time, I have even set my machine up outside on a beautiful day, so I can get the benifit of fresh air and piecing.

I have my computer between the kitchen and the family room. I pass by it many times during the day. I am always tempted to check on the board. I'm taking a break right now, but just for a few minutes!
It is really easy to spend a lot of time here. So much to see and read that interests me! :D

I check my email first thing every morning and then check this board. I spend more time here than I do sewing. I will say that my quilting vocabulary has improved many times and I have gotten lots of inspiration here.

I told DH that I refuse to clean until after Christmas because I have pots to get done. But I do vacuum onle cause I can't stand a dirty rug.

I'm retired now but I'm amazed how quickly a day passes because there's so much to do all the time. My special time for sewing is late at night (DH goes to bed early), even though I have time during the day. I try to limit computer time, but I feel myself becoming addicted to this site.
