My husband left early this morning for a weekend of deep sea fishing with our son and I have been having a sewing day. I am working on 2 quilts..one has been in progress and the other is a Hawaiian hand applique that I got cut out last night and started working on this morning.
I watched 4-5 quilting shows that were recorded and waiting for me while I appliqued and then I went to the machine and got some piecing done, more applique, lunch, and sewing most of this afternoon...have my music on and have just gotten my shower at 4:30PM!
Just wanted to share...Hope your day has been good for you too!

I know just how you feel! Most of us have those days few and far in between - but I am sure that we make the most of it!! Sometimes it is night time and I am still in my jammies from....well....never got out of them!
