i broke my thumb and want sympathy, lol, it is so frustrating, it is my right thumb too, it really hurts, charlie the dog wanted out now, and i somehow got in the way when he went out the door.

Ouch that hurts!! You use your thumb alot. When my dd broke hers she couldn't zip up her pants, and hair washing was fun at our house. Hopefully it heals quickly.

i am trying to have a sense of humor about it, i hope the guy i am doing the upholstery for has one too, cause sewing is difficult, i had no idea how right hand dependent i was, it is nice to have hugs, thank you

Hugs to you :P Hope it gets better fast. I cut a finger on my left hand with the rotary and seems like that was the finger I was always bumping. Just think, now you will learn how to do things with your left hand.

Jan, So sorry about your thumb, hope it heals quickly.

I had a hand problem awhile back and found I had trouble putting on my bras. I was lucky as it was cold wintery weather and I stayed inside most of the time braless using a tank top under my clothes - no support but it kept me warm.
