dang, i lost my quilt top. is it at your house????? i had surgery and i called the Dr. Blue Eyes. ( it makes him blush) he is a great guy. so after the surgery and while healing i made a quilt for him i only have the top done. it is fall leaves. i hate making leaves and all those points. lol. but i did it as his favorite time of the year is fall. well then i had company from australia coming and had to put all of my quilt things away. you guessed it i lost it. i do have a lot of quilting things both machines ( i still need a long arm) and fabric ok i have to admit it i do hoard a bit or a lot depends who you ask. lol but now that the company is gone i cant find it. oh well i just heard that more company from oz is coming so i will wait until they leave to look for it again. blessings to all and happy quilting.

Well I hope you are over the surgery and getting back to full health - losing things like that is D***n irritating - I lost my IRR top shortly after it arrived back here, and it took me 7 months before I found it again, so I know exactly how you are feeling. I hope yours surfaces quicker than mine did.

Maybe you'll find it when you are stowing stuff for this batch of company?

Hope you find it soon. I have been looking for weeks for the fall wreath I had made. I finally gave up and made a new one. I will find it now for sure.

Well your aren't alone in this. I had bought a 1/2 yd piece of fabric to finish the binding on the baby quilt for my DD & when I went to finish it up, couldn't find the darn thing! So I substituted a solid turquoise piece & she was A)Happy it was done, and B)loved the way the turquoise tied the colors together. Who knows when I'll run into that remnant? LOL, when I do, I know I'll say to myself, why didn't I think of looking there before?

it's hanging out with the 2 mug rugs I made for a swap.

I showed them off here at work and I don't know where I put them! Of course, whenever they turn up, I will be happy, I will keep them for me as I love the way they turned out.
