It has been over 7 weeks since I have been behind the wheel of a car. The ankle is much better. I still can't walk without crutches yet--might have to do PT. But it is so good to be able to drive again. My hubby said "Just because you can drive again does not mean you can run around!" Hmmm watch me. A new quilt shop opening in Homer--gonna be called Sew-ciable. I might have to go to opening!

Good news for you. Check out the new shop and tell us how you like it. It's not 'running around' if you have a specific destination is it? Lol.

I agree with Magpie, not running around if there's a specific destination in mind!

Great news too!

Good for you!!!! I had surgery last Jan. and will have another in Dec....both times requiring being non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks....so I feel your joy at driving again :)

Wishing you a continued great recovery!

Mary

Glad you are feeling better and getting out - to a destination! I like the name of the new shop, too. Check it out and let us know!
