I feel sorry for the people on the east coast! I REALLY feel sorry for the people trying to travel by plane or train. How sad to not be able to make it home or to your holiday celebrations. And I can't imagine trying to sleep on the floor of the airports!!!!!

When they closed the airports, where did all the poor stranded folks go? Poor folks.

My Daughter inlaws mother was suppose to fly out today to visit them - they were able to get a few days off fomr work - her mom also has a week off of work and only has seen her daughter once this year, My son is in the service so none of us see him very often...its been over a year for me..anyways her flight has been canceled. Hopefully tomorrow she can get a flight out there to CA.

Their weather is terrible!! the company I work for has already shut down several branches....NY, NJ, MA, NC. When are they going to shut down Corporate which is in Arizona?? we feel they should shut us down, or at least let us work from home when it gets above 115. :(:(:(

I had to go to the post office and the bank this morning. Made the trip up hill, with snow up to my knees, and I am not kidding here, to find out they were both closed. All the smaller shops in between were open and clearing their sidewalks. Too funny to see the sign at the bank that they will reopen today but the door is locked. So, we made our trip back, uphill again...just kidding this time downhill, which is actually worse when is snowy and icy.
