I'm so excited! I finished my daughters drapes that she's been waiting for about 2 weeks now  I didn't wash the fabric 1st because they have little sparkle stickers on them that would have come off for sure  and that's the whole reason she liked that fabric  so I hope I never have to wash them.

I can't seem to get the bottom to be the same length between the 2 panels. I put both of them on the rod and then pinned them across the bottom and tried to get them the same length and they aren't hanging even. Is there any trick to that I can learn? Other then that they look pretty good :) She loves them so I guess that's all that matters right?

I think they're really cute!!!...and your daughter seems to loooovvvveeee them. You don't really notice any difference when they're pulled back. :) Beckie

thanks so much everyone! I love this board... everyone is so supportive of others efforts and it seems like you all really understand how hard it is to make stuff like this (for a newbie anyway) LOL and appreciate the effort. Thanks so much! :)

The girls are much prettier than the drapes and the drapes are gorgeous! I have NEVER been able to make curtain sets even. I think there is a trick that you measure up from the floor but I'm not sure about that. I just pulled them back and nobody saw them closed except me and my family!

Did you put the panels back on the same sides as they were when you measured? If not, maybe your rod is a little uneven. Maybe switch the panels and see if that helps.

It's not noticable enough (at least from the pictures) to worry about really.

Me too! Never able to get pairs of panels to hang exactly the same. I always blamed it on living in an old house!

Those are cute, cute kids and great curtains. Don't stress!
