Just read back through the posts and saw that you got the job! Congratulations! Next time I go to San Antonio I will just HAVE to go to all the Catherine's and find you (no ulterior motives at all LOL)to tell you in person!

good luck! retail can be lots of fun, and lots of stress. i hope they have a good employee discount! i used to work at laura ashley and had to wear at least one piece of her line every day. all i could afford was scarves! i did learn how to knock off the dresses. man, that was a long time ago!!

today makes makes day 3 at the job
so far so good having to learn all the new stuff and I am a key holder and have a bit more responsibility
happy to have a job!!!!!

I have applied at a ton of positions which I am way overqualified for....no one ever gets back to me and when I try to call to "verify any additional information that they might need"...I only get answering machines. ANY job right now helps to pay the bills. Gook Luck! And, yes, I truly believe that age discrimination exists.
I guess I am in the same boat as you, I agree about the age discrimination....it just stinks, I know I could run circles around some of these younger ones who seem to have no work ethics to boot !!
