I just finished my folk art painting. it is called Take The Gentle Path. I also put it on my blog. I am thinking about translating it into an art quilt. What do you think? You can also see it here on my blog: http://tracisuzannemarvel.blogspot.c...-progress.html

Well..not sure about the talented part...I just love to create things:) It is like I don't have a choice. Isn't that how you feel also? I bet I could find some fun batiks to bring this to life in textiles. And maybe I could incorporate wool also. Hmmmm...

Very nice I do ok with charcoal or pencil but really can't manage getting the colors correct with mediums other than fabric.

Thanks. I don't really know how to paint. I just love to.
But I do love folk art and I love to translate my folk art into textile pieces. So I guess I will need to start looking for some fun batiks and wool! :)~
