Wow, we now have 12, 021 members on Quilting Board. Please post a note and introduce yourself as we are all friendly and lots of good quilters here that can give us guidance and tips.
I am Karen "Craftybear" from Indiana, USA. My birthday is November 15, 1956 and I am a beginner. I am married, no kids, but we have a spoiled shih tzu dog, Felix.
I love surfing online for patterns so last year I created some blogs to save the links to when I surf so others can enjoy (you will see my blogs on the siggie message below)
I just love reading the messages and I have learned lots of things so far.
Okay who is next to introduce yourself and please don't lurk as we love to hear about you and I'm sure you will meet some new quilting friends from all over the world.

Married, 2 boys - 32 & 19, no grand kids
My other kids are the four legged kind- Alice the Dobby is 14 years old, Lil Bit the Min-Dobby is 4 yrs old, Harley the Rat Terrier is 5 years old, Bella the Jack Rat is 4 years old, Molly Mae (my M&M)the Rat Terrier is 2 years old, and Ginger the Mancester Terrier is 3 years old. In case you are wondering all but 2 of these (Alice and Molly) are rescue dogs. I have a soft heart.
New member--new to quilting. Besides quilting, I love sewing, making prim dolls, basket weaving, needle point, and gardening.

My husband and I live in the East Bay of San Francisco
We have grandchildren in Olympia, WA
Parents in Cleveland and El Paso, TX
SO, we are on the road 20% of the time. Our dog died a couple of years ago and altho we miss having a pet, we are enjoying the freedom to come and go as we please. I have been quilting for 20 years and have made 90 quilts, most of them gifts. I love this board! Welcome new members.

My name is Conni "quazyquilter". My birthday is Nov 4th, my favorite color is purple. I am single, 4 kids (all grown, thank goodness), 7 grandkids, no pets.
I live in Vermont, USA. I have been sewing since I was very young. My passions are quilts AND buying fabric! I also do alterations on the fancy fabric clothes ( wedding dresses, prom dresses, etc.)
I live in a very small country town, the very same one that I grew up in.

My boardname is Maksi, married 3 children, 1 grown up and two teenagers( 16 en 17 years)alle lovely children, no pets and I live in the Netherlands, Europe.
Start sewing clothes in 2004, started quilting in 2007.
I live in the busiest part of my country.

My name is Nancy, grandmother of 3...Hence "grammynan"!
Two of my four grown children are twins.
I just had a birthday on Feb. 7th.
I've been sewing since I was a young child.
No pets.
