Default I made it to Paducah!

I finally made it to Paducah last week. I was in heaven when I walked into Hancock's! Took my patterns with me, planning to buy fabric for them and instead bought fabric for patterns I don't have yet and bought more patterns for fabric I don't have. Quilt in a Day was such a nice store and great prices. Didn't have time to select fabric as they were still on their winter hours and closed at 4pm. Did get a couple fo Eleanor's books that I haven't seen before. Wish I would have had time to go to the quilt museum - but that will give me an excuse to go back.

I like to go to Paducah during the quilt show week. It is so much fun. One day will just not do at all!

I went to every show for the first fifteen years...then we moved back to SC and I worked, so I couldn't make the trip in the time available...now I'm too far away and (probably) too lazy to go that far from home....sigh.......But isn't it fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can hardly wait too! My DD lives in Paducah and works for the newspaper and she actually gets to cover some of the quilt goings-on! Even my DH goes with us and pays to see the quilts, etc. - one of the very few men! I already have my Eleanor Burns coupons printed off!
