Default I need help--but not quilt-help!

I am a retired teacher, very active in our local historical society and our community is celebrating it's bicentennial this June. As part of the committee, I would like to offer to make the patriotic bunting for our celebration. I have found the red, white and blue by the yard at a fairly reasonable price, but have tried all over the net to find directions. It seems so simple, but everything I've tried doesn't look right. Also I need to have a guess-timate on the yardage to buy. Help! can anyone steer me down the right red, white and blue road? Thanks!!

Use Bing or another browser and type in patriotic bunting. You will find tons of stuff and may find that it is much more economical to purchase what you need, especially if you need a lot of it. If you would rather make it, I can understand that. Don't have any help for that. Good luck!

You might want to check out "Made in the USA" patriotic buntings on the internet to compare cost of finished ones. Many are made in another country, but I try to buy USA on patirotic items. Just saying...sometimes it's less expensive to buy the ready made...or not. Let us know how this all comes out. Interesting project. I'm a retired teacher, too, but only focusing on home projects for awhile.
