I think you have answered your own question ...... cook for her!!

How about making her some homemade frozen entrees? Then she can pop it into the microwave/oven as she wishes. Or give her a "gift certificate" that you will deliver her a dinner once a month? Or that she comes to dine at your place once a month? (or set a different number?)

Ok, I have decided to make her some throw pillows for her couch. She loves my machine embroidery.

Food or flowers. Can be used and enjoyed and does not clutter. I know several older people who have enough 'things'. "Don't want anymore things!"
