T shirt dress for DGD

Did you ever have one of those days where you KNOW how to do something, have done it before, but just can't wrap your pea brain around it? Well, what SHOULD have taken a few minutes took me 1/2 the day today to make! :(

I bought a T and added the bottom for my DGD to wear to school. The ones I made last year are way to short to wear to school this year.

Do you think the flower is too big? She is 4.

Uh... I couldn't wrap my head around how to make clothes to begin with. I tried to make a Simplicity pattern today. 2 hours later and it looked like junk. The dress is great and a 4 year old would like the flower embellishment on the larger side.

You have talent. I, on the other hand, will stick strictly to quilts.LOL
