I thought the October fab shop hop (fabshophop.com) was great cause I got all the block patterns and actually made the quilt. But it was even better -- I just got an email that I won a $10 gift certificate from one of the participating shops, quarterseamquiltshop.com. It wasn't a grand prize or anything huge, but every little bit counts, right? I found a great bargain at quarterseam and ended up paying a very good per-yard price for my purchase, even considering the postage.

I'm now doing the current fabshophop. I'm sorry there aren't sampler block patterns available in this one, but it's fun and who knows -- maybe I'll win another little something.

I do them every month too. Yesterday I found 5 one yard cuts of white on white prints of fabric on the table. I asked DH where they come from. He told me it was what I ordered.... I didn't order anything. He brought me the envelope they were shipped in, and it was from Fabshophop, not from a certain fabric shop. I didn't know I won anything, but like you said, I'll take it!

Wonderfully fun! I haven't gotten into those and really don't need to (I have absolutely no idea how they work) as I get in enough trouble with the sites I visit now and then. Glad you have fun with it and won!
