On Mardi Gras in New Orleans I always made a weiner spaghetti. Served tossed salad and garlic bread also. Then on Ash Wednesday there was no meat so we had Tuna noodle casserole. Hugs,

Penny, I didn't even think to mention eating raw taters with salt! I guess if that's weird, then eating raw turnips with salt and a bit of lemon juice is even weirder, huh? LOL! And I can't believe I forgot to mention in my first post that when I was growing up, my very favorite breakfast was when my mother would make chocolate gravy, and we would eat it over hot biscuits! YUMMM!!!

Quinoa , Barley , Brown Rice , Olive oil , salt & pepper when I get sick of Oatmeal. It's a nice change
