scrappy quilter - what a great idea for the construction paper, scissors, glue, glitter, etc. I am gonna do something for a few little girls I am a Guardian Ad Litem for and this is great and inexpensive. They will love this and mom will appreciate the new practical gift of clothes/mittens.

I am a single mom two small kids and i will say it is very hard to buy christmas this year, ive been selling quilts to help out! but i can say i am very blessed with my kids, they understand the TURE meaning of christmas!

I would suggest puzzles, bibles, books and family games!

There is a lot of great idea here, I am sure that anything that you give will be appreciated,

Having two girls, most definitely the smelly girly things, They are an extra that usually is gone without if money is tight, accessories, braclets necklaces etc, a lot can be found here in the dollar stores.

Boys are harder for me but my DS likes the Axe products for hygene (or there is another brand that I can't think of) some times you can find the hand held video games inexpensively (don't forget batteries if required),

For the whole family cards are a good one along with the games,

If there are younger kids that need to be babysat, maybe some way to pay for a sitter for some free time even if it is to just sit in the tub for some quiet time.

What great ideas! I was thinking about picking up a costco size TP and paper towels, and cleaning supplies. Glad to hear this sort of thing would be a good idea!
