Sometimes I get inspired by watching quilting videos or reading/looking through quilting books and magazines or Pinterest pictures. You might get going again by looking at pictures here on the Board. I know the feeling and hope you get back in gear really soon.

Now listen girl, you know you want to do it. So sit yourself down & get going. You know you want to, You know you want to, You know you want to. So just do it & you will be pleased with yourself when it is done.

I am working on a quilt that is a gift for my DGS wedding that will take place in Catalina. For some reason or another I have stalled and can't seem to get back at it. What the heck is wrong with me, and it is a really beautiful quilt so I can't seem to come up with an excuse Please, encourage me to get with it before I am chasing a deadline

I find that it is hard for me to get "into" a quilting project if other areas in my life seem out of kilter. Even if the project is well launched and I have really enjoyed working on it. So, I try to figure out exactly what it is that is keeping me from being "in the moment" and enjoying the process. Once I have it figured out and have come up with a plan, executed or not, I seem to be able to exhale and get the job done.
A good night's sleep helps too!
Boy, I really sound like a new age guru or something. But, that is what works for me!
